HOME CARE INSTRUCTION AFTER - THERAPEUTIC BOTOX
- FIRST 2 HOURS: Stay upright (do not lie down) for at least 2 hours. Do not rub or massage the treated areas.
- REST OF TODAY: Avoid hard exercise, saunas, and facials today.
- WHEN IT WORKS: You may start to feel the effect in 2–10 days. It usually lasts up to 3 months.
- NORMAL: Small bumps, redness, or a little bruising at the shots are normal and go away in a few days.
- JAW: Your jaw may feel tired when chewing hard foods for a while. Choose softer foods if needed.
- DRIVING: If you feel weak, have blurry vision, feel dizzy, or your eyelid droops, do not drive or do anything risky.
- GET HELP RIGHT AWAY: If you have trouble swallowing, speaking, or breathing — even days or weeks later — call 911 or get medical help right away, then call us.
