HOME CARE INSTRUCTION AFTER - NITROUS OXIDE (LAUGHING GAS)
- BEFORE YOU LEAVE: At the end, you breathed 100% oxygen to clear the gas. We checked that you feel normal before you left.
- TODAY: The gas leaves your body quickly. If you still feel dizzy, sleepy, or unsteady, do not drive. Have someone take you home and rest.
- HEADACHE OR NAUSEA: A mild headache or upset stomach can happen and should go away soon. Start with light food.
- CHILDREN: Watch your child for the rest of the day. Help them walk if they feel wobbly.
- CALL US: If a headache, dizziness, or nausea does not go away, call the office at 661-857-7662.
- EMERGENCY: CALL 911 if you pass out, have trouble breathing or swallowing, or your throat feels tight.
